The Stacked Bar chart offers users the flexibility to group data by different time intervals such as hours, days, weeks, and allows customization of the aggregation function. This chart visually displays the distribution and composition of data categories within each time interval.


Starting the Control

To start the control click on the “Assets” button in the upper left corner of the PI Vision display.

In the upper part select “weruStackedBar” by clicking on it.

Afterwards the desired attribute from the asset tree could be added to the display via drag and drop. The StackedBar control appears on the display and can be used.

Adding additional Attributes

When the control is already present on the display, it is possible to add more attributes by dragging and dropping them on the control.

Configuration

With a right click on the control it is possible to press "Configure". Thereby the configuration tile appears.

With Group By it is possible to select how the Data should be grouped. So it is possible to get values for the following selections:

  • Days

  • Weeks

  • Months

  • Years

  • Quarters

  • Category-Tag

With Category-Tag you can set a PI-Tag that will be used to Categorise your data.
(This Option is only shown and used when Category-Tag was choosen in the option Group By)

With Data Mode the aggregation function can be determined. The following functions are available for selection:

  • Sum

  • Minimum

  • Maximum

  • Average

  • Average (Event Based)

  • First value

  • Last value

With Decimal Places it is possibile to set how many decimal places should be shown.

Offset Data makes it possible to artificially show a time range one time unit before the current PI-Vision time.

Change the Size of the Control

In a first step you need to go into edit mode (Icon in the upper right corner) and in a second step to click on the control. The eight appearing dots around the control can be used to adjust the size that everything is visible.

Removing the Control

Before removing the control it is necessary to switch into edit mode (Icon in the upper right corner). Thereafter it is possible to click on the control and press the delete key to remove the control.
